Karombar lake is 2^nd highest lake in Pakistan with 4272m elevation above sea level karombar lake is one of the biologically most active lakes in Pakistan with a length of 3.9 km and a width of 2km, karombar lies on the border of Gilgit Baltistan and Chitral district it is also nearby wakhan corridor of Afghanistan, Karomber lake trek is one of the top ten trekking adventures of Pakistan, lake trek involves a Beautiful & refreshing journey through Yarkhun valley to the most isolated valley of Broghil in Pakistan 

Broghil National Park:

Broghil Valley is one of the most isolated valleys of Pakistan which offers some of the untouched natural beauty which is still away from human traces it offers beautiful rivers, wetlands or peatlands which can be found in this area in abundance than any other area, Grassland below is the itinerary of Karombar lake trek.

Day 1: Islamabad to Chitral

• Departure for Chitral from Islamabad (11 hours)

• Private transport will be provided

• Dinner at Chitral overnight in chitral

Day 2: Arrival in Mastuj

• Arrival and rest in Mastuj (8 am)

• Lunch and dinner at hotel

• Night stay in Mastuj (hotel) 

Day 3: Drive to Lashkargaz Valley

• Breakfast at hotel in Mastuj 

• Jeep/landcruiser to Powr Village (4 hours)

• Lunch at Powr

• Arrival at lashkargaz( 8 hours drive) overnight stay in guest house

Day 4: Trek to Karombar lake

• Breakfast at Lashkargaz guest house

• Start trek to karombar lake midway nightstay at sheosher village

• Camping night at shosher village between lashkargaz & karombar lake

• Night stay in camps at sheosher (4 hours trek from lashkargaz )

Day 5: Karomber Lake Trek

• Trek to Karomber Lake (5 hours)

• Breakfast at sheosher camp site

• Reach karombar lake

• Dinner at Karambar Lake

• Night stay at Karomber lake (camp)

Day 6: Lashkargaz

• Trek back to Lashkargaz (8-9 hours)

• Breakfast at Karomber Lake

• Dinner at Lashkargaz

• Night stay at Lashkargaz (guest house)

Day 7: Contingency Day

• Rest/small hikes near Lashkargaz (4-8 hours)

  Options:Sakhing lakes (2 hours) / Ghanz – view point of Wakhan (2 hours)

• Breakfast at guest house

• Dinner at Lashkargaz guest house

• Night stay at Lashkargaz (guest house)

Day 8: Jeep to Powr Village

• Drive back to Powr village (8-9 hours)

• Breakfast at Lashkargaz

• Dinner at Powr village

• Night stay at Powr (guest house)

Day 9: Return to Chitral

• Drive back to Chitral (6-7 hours)

• Breakfast at Powr

• Lunch at Mastuj

• Arrival in Chitral Town

  Day 10: Return to Islamabad

• Drive to Islamabad from Chitral to 8 AM (10-11hours) 

• Breakfast in Chitral 

• Lunch in Upper Dir 

• Dinner in Islamabad
